Rush Week #1: (Wednesday 1/20 - Saturday 1/23)

Wednesday 1/20: “Mad-Hatter Tea and Games” 4-6 PM
One of our more quirky events. We request that everyone wear a silly hat to this event. This shows our potential new members that our fraternity not only tolerates, but nurtures individualism and creativity. We are a fraternity of diverse membership, making us a unique addition to Cornell Greek life.

Friday 1/22: House Dinner, 7-9PM
Our weekly dinners are a time for relaxing, bonding with brothers, and eating delicious food. We volunteer to cook each week and this is a great opportunity to provide a little service back to the fraternity. We welcome individuals to come join us for dinner any week to get to know the members of the fraternity and enjoy the uniqueness of Sigma Chi Delta. Location: 307 Wait Avenue

Rush Week #2: (Sunday 1/24 - Saturday 1/30)

Sunday 1/24: “Mystery Berry/ Taste-Changing” 5-7PM
Brothers and prospective members will have the opportunity to experience the effects of the miracle fruit berry on other tastes at this fun and unusual event.There is a naturally occurring enzyme in this berry that (painlessly, and without side-effects) blocks your taste receptors for the sour flavor, making all sour foods taste sweet! This gives everyone a chance to get to know one another better in a relaxed environment and share new experiences.

Tuesday 1/26: “90s Regression Night” 5-7PM
Brothers and prospective members will join together to do activities and play games popular during the 1990s, such as Bop-It. This will allow prospective members to become acquainted with current members in a relaxed setting as well as promote creativity through tie-dye, coloring, and finger-painting.

Wednesday 1/27: “Fondue” 7-9PM
Brothers will prepare chocolate fondue and related snacks to be shared with prospective members. Prospective members and brothers will be able to become further acquainted while snacking and relaxing.

Rush Week #3: (Sunday 1/31 - Tuesday 2/2)

Monday 2/1: Pre-Caucaus Board Games, 6-8PM
Join us as brothers and prospective members relax and play board games on the night of the Iowa caucus. Location: 307 Wait Avenue

Tuesday 2/2: Study Night, 7-9PM
Brothers and prospective members will join together and bond as we attempt to forge through our first week of homework.Location: 307 Wait Avenue
